Here are some pictures of the bike Peter wanted me to post for you guys. As far as Peter goes, I can vouch for him as a seller, one of the nicest and most professional men you will ever meet. Great guy. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ryan, To speak on behalf of Peter (I am sure he will check thread later), that is the current condition. The paint on the bike is still fresh as I speak. Pics were taken yesterday.
Well I called Peter yesterday before these pics were posted but I haven't heard back yet. I'll probably just wait for him to call me back.
sorry for being absent...i am preparing to do battle against my co. and have been spending an inordinate amount of time prepping w/ attys. the pics were taken yesterday and the bike is physically as it appears in the photos and currently resides in coronado, ca. the body work is sharksinz and the tank and all other carbon fiber is clay carrier composites or factory corsa. sherpa, i tried to call you twice...spoke to dave or dan. sorry we have missed each other. pcb
Because I went and edited Peter's post in order to add the number. You did not miss it, I added it later You are welcome.
ryan, it was really great talking w/ you as well. kai...you as well! we all share so many similar interests that it dawned on me ...thisd site is a great way to make the map smaller and to help uncover more crazy folk like me! let's all make a point of getting in a track day together soon! best pcb
Is the bike still available? Could you make it streetable again? Also, could it be shipped to the Mid West?

the bike is still avail as of tody. there are however 3 very interested (from what i can see) parties that i am waiting for a bit more solid a comittment, but still avail. on the street ability issue, yes i suppose the bike could be made streetable again, but i'm not sure it would be too, too easy as there would be parts to buy (starter etc...) and and wiring to do for the headlight, tail light... while it is currently untitled, a title could also be applied for but that too can be tough. on shipping, there are many shippers that can be trusted and the going rate sems to be about $500 . hope this helps and thank you for your interest. pcb
Converting a race bike to street use is an exercise in futility. It will cost you twice as much to convert a race bike to street, as it would be to buy a street bike, modify it to get the same performance out of it. While this is a geat looking bike, the factory has just come out with a new version of the 750 twin, and it makes about 22 more hp than a stock 748, and you can get about 140HP with the use of their kits. See the new Roadracing World for an article. This will make a great club bik, or something to use on track days. Pete let me know the next time you're going to California Speedway, I've got a new (to me) GSXR race bike (formerly used by Steve Rapp) to use on track days. Art
