NICE. Sure, I'll take either one I'm not really in love with gixxers, the 2001 version just seems to fit me. I'm a big boy. The newer ones might be too small. If thats the case, I may go to twins and run an Aprilia Mille. Ther are a little larger and seem to fit me pretty well. I'm not the one you want on your bikes though. I'm a punter, mid-packer at best, just out there having fun. I know a few racers hunting for good bikes though, if not for a "ride". Several that are winners or top 10 types. Give a jingle, ya still got my phone #? Will have to look in my little black book for yers, I've gotten a new phone and havent updated all my contacts.
It's a Duc for sure but the angry Asian front end styling doesn't seem right. But, I guess, if you want to market to those who grew up with Transformers and still watch Dragon Ballz then I guess it's a hit. I'm still hooked on the 998
Are you kind enough to point out what japanese model has a display like that ? Cheap ? right, it`s from the same supplier as the one`s in the MotoGp bikes, for sure it ain`t cheap and it`s very usefull.
Don't really care what it looks like. Don't really care about the color. Don't really care about the instruments. I WANT TO SEE IT ON THE TRACK KICKING JAPANESE BUTTS!!!!
cheap? That's the best style display unit you can get. You can plug so many sensors into them to log just about everything. Extremely customizable. Kits like those from AIM, MoTec, etc regularly run 2000 and up
Get a 749 then. Thats the next model down. They only made this model so that they can be 'competitive' with the inline-4 cylinder bikes in World Superbike and other superbike series around the world.
Just in case you missed this. This will be huge to Ducati sales - everyone I know who complains about them being to costly maintenance wise will now be able to afford one - especially since the 1098 is cheaper than the outgoing bike. This will be better across the board for Ducati as they should be able to sell more bikes, which will help there racing projects. 50% less maintenance cost on every 2007 Ducati We are proud to announce that all 2007 Ducati models require less frequent service, fewer parts and less labour during each service and, as a result, greatly reduced scheduled maintenance costs by as much as 50%.
