    Can anyone in the Dallas area recommend a good drywall repair contractor? I was changing the filter in my A/C unit int he attic and stepped between the 2x4 decking in the attic and put my foot through the ceiling. Put about a 2ft x 2ft hole in the drywall and need it repaired and texture to match the rest of the ceiling.

    This is pretty easy to do on your own. If you're not into DIY, that's OK...we each make a choice about this stuff.

    I am a pretty handy do-it-yourselfer, but drywall patches on ceilings can be very tricky - I want to avoid any potential cracking later on, so I am going to farm this out to a pro.

    Tough luck, but easy to do........I cut thru an energized branch circuit once and crashed into the European Cars, Ltd. Parts Department.....

    Luckily, the 'fall' knocked me loose from the 'electrocution' part of my day.....
