I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but couldn't find anything through a search so.... will take possession of our 2005 360 in a few days and am worried about the depth of the dip between the road and our driveway - almost a "V" shape. The only thing I could find online was a rubber product made by Bridjit. If anyone has experience with this product or could recommend others it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Bryan

I was using something as simple as a couple of 1" x 6" x 8'. However someone would take my boards!!!!! Not sure if it was kids building a tree house or the town road dept. thinking I am blocking water drainage. If I did something like the rubber bridgit, I would want to drive big spikes to keep it in place!!!!!! Putting it down and putting it back in the garage every time I drive in and out is Not an option.

I am thinking of an alternate as in grading the last three/four feet of driveway down to a smoother slope.

    Good Luck.

I just do the 90 degree approach; putting one wheel up and turning into it. I am concerned about the liability if someone on a bike or skateboard beefs it. In today's litigious society, I just don't want to mess with it.

If it were me....I would contact a few concrete guys and have them out to give you an estimate. Something permanent, clean and professional would be money well spent.

But then again depending on your specific situation, this may not be an option.

They have on a few models. It is cheaper to just fix the driveway.

I made a small asphalt wedge at the bottom of my driveway and it works great.

wouldn't that make more sense if it had room underneath to let water flow? Thinking it would be more maintenance to keep leaves, dirt, etc. out of there not to mention the hassle of removing for street sweeper.

seems one could make their own with a bit of 3" oval conduit topped with your own material.

and like you I manage well just angling up bumps.

Thanks much for the advice. I'll try one of the products and hope it doesn't get swiped......
