    You heard it here first....

    19/06/2007

A little rumour doing the rounds at Silverstone today has Kimi Raikkonen heading to Toyota next season to replace Ralf Schumacher... don't ask us the whys or wherefores, that's all we know.

If it turns out to be true, you heard it here first.

If it turns out to be bull****, you didn't!

The biggest question is, however, if there were any truth to this, who would be in line to replace the Finn at Ferrari?

Wow, why would he want to kill his career?

I guess Massa has no motivational problems since he probably considers himself an underdog (as he should imo). Kimi on the other hand...

Alonso : I feel very uneasy in an Italian team, where Massa speaks fluent Italian, and with Michael in his corner. i feel alone. i feel like i have to fight for the title by my own self.

LOL! Not sure if they'd want him back as he could be a bad influence (drinking) on Lewis. ;);)

But to be serious, Kimi did set the fastest lap at Indy and of course has a pole and won a race this season. As long as the car comes to par, he'll be good to go. I'm not really concerned with him beating out Massa or not since they're not even battling for the lead. Really a moot point.

If you can speak Spanish fluently you should be able to understand at least 50% of what Italians say when they speak. I think he would have no trouble adapting. Yes the guy does ***** a lot, but he can produce results, and ultimately that's what matters. At this point I really don't like him, but if he can come to Ferrari, and start winning, I'm sure I can have a change of heart. And I know this is true of everyone here. If someone can come in and win, we would all be fighting for a spot on the "fan club" line.

he doesn't need to come to Ferrari and start winning to change my heart. with all due respect to ur post, i do get ur point, but, if he just shut the hell up and let his driving do his talking, he'll be one of my fav. driver already.

Alonso would be a fool to go to Ferrari IMHO...they are likely several years away from building a competitive car...

It would be great news, particularly if the Scuderia could get Alonso.

Personally I think Kimi would look at Renault first. They got more potential than Toyota and could use a better driver.

    Ferrari 08: Alonso/Massa, YEEHAA!!!

Alonso would be the logical choice, especially if he is feeling uncomfortable partnering Hamilton.

I would also consider JB or Heidfeld.

+100,000 If Alonso came to Ferrari..They would be in deep dodo before long. I would take Rosberg, Heidfeld, Kovalainin, or Kubica in a minute. Its sad but Mike was forced out because of Luca striking up some deal with Kimi but now Luca. looks like a fool. It would be nice to see Mike make a comeback but a doubt it. I was talking to someone who used to work with him at Ferrari and he says no way he will come back. But I still hope he misses the action behind the wheel and gets the itch.

Thank god your not with Ferrari with a comment like that. It was only 4 weeks ago that they had won 2 straight races and looked unbeatable.

It would make sense for Alonso to channel all this so called tension into driving a 08 flying ferrari and thus (maybe) beating his team mate lewis he doesnt like playing 2nd fiddle thats for sure. however reading the posts it seems alonso is not that well liked in the red camp so unlikely it will happen but what do i know
