Good seeing you and everyone else Al. By the time the flatbed arrived to take BST1's f-car home it was too late to return. Did manage to go on my own fun run for a bit so it wasn't a total loss. BTW I loved seeing Ron's Pantera in it's new blue color. What an amazing car that is.
Ken, the Camaro guy was confused. He thought he was Barchetta. Also, his engine was in the wrong place. I'll bring the TR next week; I think it's slower than the 360 from a start and you *might* get a clear shot. Have you tried a higher shutter speed?
Blown Headers, bent valve guides, broken bypass valve, sticky stuff all over the place.... Just kidding, flat tire.
about a half hour after you left. It took a bit to get it loaded since this was only the second ferrari he had ever hauled. At least he was careful. Barry said the tire had three separate holes in it!
Looks like a sharp piece of metal was run over, and went around the tire, wedged beween the tire and the inner fender, and punctured the tread and apparently the inner sidewall twice. Stop Flat didn't have a chance so had to flatbed it home. No other damage and the wheel is perfect. Oh well, sh*t happens. Thanks to Jim and Luke for their help.
I think I saw a guy in a red 430 throw that piece of metal in the roadway. Business must be slow Missed you Barry...I saved a spot for you and probably pissed off a Camaro owner in the process. Glad there was no further damage to the car. Thank God you have the boys on speed dial -- +1 cigar when I see you.
So, who is up for a Donut run. I plan to be at the Starbucks in Oakton around 8:00 a.m. Anyone interested, please join me. We'll leave around 8:30 for the Donut. Jerry
There are only a couple of races all year that I must watch live and the Italian GP is one of them. Love to go but I'm going to be pulling for Fisi and Kimi. Have fun
Jerry, I'm in for a quick Donut visit. I need to gas up in the morning so I'll reach the meeting place at around 8.20am. Did you get your CEL checked out? Let me know if you want me to bring my OBD2 scanner.
