    Not a good day on Thursday.
    Took the girls for the usual fun in a local area where they can go off lead and explore creeks, ovals, bushland etc.
    They were running around pretty quickly when I suddenly heard a yelp.
    Turned around to see Misha standing still with her leg held up and then she started crying. Anyone whom has heard a Husky do that knows it's a disturbing sound.
    I ran over and comforted her for 30 seconds or so and she calmed down. Checked her foot - no prickle, glass or anything obvious.
    Car was at least 1km away. Not much else I could do except call the vet to say I'm on my way and try to carry her back to the car.
    I took her as far as I could before I got tired and she started wriggling so I put her down gently on the ground.
    This is where the vid picks up. She hobbled the last 200m or so to the car.

    Turns out she has snapped her ACL in her left rear leg. :(
    Will need surgery, of course.

    What a trooper, hobbling along still smiling.
