Any owners experience the above? We are buying a new home with a Porto on the way. Looked at some that have a steep drive way. Anyone experience ground clearance issues?

I have no ground clearance issues at all with mine. Unless you have a really steep drive you will be fine

I have had more issues on slopes with my 911 (997.2 S) than the Cali ('11). But, our chunk of Texas is generally flat.
I would expect the Porto to ride like the Cali, and for it not to be an issue unless it's really steep, or you plan to have it lowered.

The Porto is a GT, not a low slung sports car like the Pista. They are made to be used daily. In and out of parking lots, shopping center garages etc. You will have to have a very steep driveway for a Porto to have issues.

What is the slope of your driveway?

It looks like 35-40 deg slope

Never heard of that before so I looked it up. Can you send a pic of the car with the armor protection?

    Did the dealer install it?

My car would need to be on a lift to get pictures. The pictures on their website show it well from different perspectives. My dealer uses this brand and installed it before I picked up the car.

I guess you don't off road... A 30 degrees slope is like this:

The problem with that driveway would be the approach and the break over angles, not the slope per se. If you crossed it diagonally, it could probably be done, even though we can't tell how steep the crest is at the end of the ascent. Of course on snowy-icy conditions, you just forget about it.

Thats exactly how it felt when I drove my cayenne up the drive way. Couldn’t see the floor or the sides when I drove up.

Thank god there is no snow in that state!

Your right I have diven up diagonally and clearered the slope before especially with a low car like my c4s but wasnt sure how the porto compared. Someone mentioned that the Porsche’s are lower. That should help but I dont want to take a chance. Probably not getting that house. We’ll keep looking. Thank you all for the input
