My car has only CD/USB/Ipod input, all digital signal input.
Does anyone have AUX input, analogue signal here?
    Thanks

    AFAIK there's no analogue input...

Perhaps the thing to do is search for a small analogue to digital convertor (A-D) which has a USB output? I don't know if such things exist.....

    Thanks for feedback.
The reason why I'm looking for aux. analogue input is the DAC build in is poor. iPod/iPhone is not bad when listening with a good head phone, certainly not very good though. But when you plug in to 458, the jack receives digital signal only and process by it's own build in DAC.
People upgrade speakers, amps but seldom consider the source.
There is some great player in the market, like AK240 which has dual DAC build in and give very good quality of analogue signal.
That why I asked if there is anyway to get an AUX input for our car.
And I find "AUX input" on some spec description on internet!
So curious if any 458 has such input.

    Thanks for reading anyway.

If you want to spend a bunch of money check out the Bit One processor.

    Audison bit - bit One

You can use it with the stock system but add your own DACs and amps etc.

But doing an install and the programming will not be inexpensive.

I too find that the audio quality when an iPhone/iPod is connected via the 30 pin connector to be quite poor. However, when that same audio it's streamed via the Bluetooth Tune2Air adapter the quality is quite acceptable.

See elsewhere on the forum for an understanding of the Bluetooth adapter and its limitations.

Currently, I believe it is the best option for receiving audio from the iPhone.

    Thanks
As I am not going to play on iPod/iPhone so Bluetooth Tune2Air is the the option.
And Audison bit is not cheap, also complicated.
That why I asked if there is feature for Aux. input for the car, which is simplest solution for my case.
If NO 458 has Aux input then I would forget it.
