    Has anyone else gotten thank you notes after giving them a ride? I was impressed. One note said, 'Words are completely inadequate to thank someone for fulfilling a person's lifelong dream, but that is precisely what you did for me today. The ride in your beautiful red Ferrari was absolutely delightful. You are so very generous. Now, I can die a truly happy woman.'
    While another stated, 'Thanks, man, for a totally new experience! I could get hooked on that-Thank God I can't afford it! I felt totally safe and secure-you are a Ferrari driver for sure! I can't get over the thrill, there is nothing like it, wow!'
    I have never gotten thank you notes from any other car I have owned.

    The one's I get are more like "You *uckin' Idiot!!! You should be arrested! How did you ever get a drivers license? What in the H*** was I thinking getting in a car with you?!?!?"

    Sure!

    The walls here are COVERED with 'em....sometimes the kid's will make a card, sometimes individual students will do something.

    One girl even made a Certiificate with clip art, and found a Daytona!
    Not my 308GTB, but I was IMPRESSED.

    Then I received 128 at one time, after taking it to my daughter's school and making stencil/glitter paintings of the World's Fastest Art Car. I suspect it was an assignment, but one girl mentioned how much Amanda loved me and that I must be a very good Dad.

    That one kind of choked me up, it's tough sometimes, being an absentee father, you know. That one was solid gold................

    I donate rides for fund raising auctions. They appreciate that.

    That was when I'd practice the racing karts around the old 'hood.

    As the kids would all run to the curb and cheer me on, there was one lady who would shake her fists, and shout:

    "You're a menace to Society, and I'm calling the cops!"

    I'd always get the tires scrubbed and the garage door back down, before they came............funny how people can see the same thing, so many different ways.

    Everyone I have given rides to have been very gracious. I've received emails, phone calls and best of all big smiles.

    Really? Well that sucks.

    I'll tell you what...if ever you drive out to Vegas or I come around Texas we'll be sure to meet up. Give me a ride, and I'll give ya a nice, sincere thank you letter. Sound like a deal? :)
