Last Saturday, I found a young kid (7 to 9 yr old) taking pictures of my car with his mom out of Starbucks. As I walked out and found this, I asked the kid "Do you want to sit in the car pretending you are driving it?" He smiled, I opened the door for him and his mother took pictures.. I am sure I made him happy that day. Why not?

I do not touch someone else's car even it is a LaFerrari. I might take a picture or two. But will never think of touching it. It is someone else's property and I have to respect that fact. If someone asks me if he could look at the engine, I will pop the hood for him. But I will not like when someone puts his/her body on my hood and leave a mark. No.

If someone asks me "How much is this thing?" "How much did you pay for it?" it totally depends on the background of their voice. If someone is being rude, then I will give him a small smile and walk away. If asked nicely, then I will say "you could get it for a lot less than you think. This is not $2M dollat top of the line Ferrari" Then they will hear my S-Line exhaust note. I see their eyes as big as they could get in my rear view mirror and drive away... Haha

If asked how much will either tell them the truth or say "Offer me $300,000 and it's yours!" Now you could probably offer a lot less but that's not how you start a negotiation. LOL

When asked how much it costs, I usually tell them its worth just about $100k retail, high $80's if I were to trade it in. (06 F430 F1 30k miles)

I have had a couple people ask me "what the payment is", which really stumps me.

I don't either, but when I'm asked by the dude in the 2000 accord if I want to trade, I answer "sure but you get to make the payments". They laugh and usually say "no thanks".

A lot of folks also feel that the insurance is absolutely astronomical for the car.

I just play along, be kind and courteous because I REALLY try not to act like the "Jerk in the expensive car".

That's because you're among the millenials and techies in the south bay... Prius, Volts, and Teslas are what get those green beans excited. 90 percent of them can't even change their own tire let alone check their own fluid levels.

Me: ........... speechless, jaw on the floor

My buddy: dying laughing "ummmm no that's a Ferrari"

Lady: "shoot, I was buying me a Mustang dammit!"

Me: .......still in shock, and disgusted

Bullish!+!!! I have gotten more a$$ on nights out because of the attention my car gets from chicks. Go to any bar where the seating area has a nice and clear view of the parking lot, sit alone and you'll see that you don't even need to try to start a conversation. Girls will generally talk to you first, ask you what you do for a living and you take it from there.

I have found this to be true, not in bars necessarily, but just around town. Should have bought one when I was single...

Agree with this 100%. I have definitely gotten more attention from ladies when they know I pulled up in my Ferrari.

Just last week I pulled up to a Starbucks and a very attractive woman in line in front of me began flirting with me. Now it doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen at the right places at the right time.
