Great Driver. I'm going to replace instrument lights with LED's so she's more usable at night. We've put them in our other cars and they work well. Remember to use colored ones in indicator lights as whites have no color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What a lovely car. I would love to find one. I did see one a few years back and was all in pieces which suited me very well, and still kick myself for passing on it, oh well... Regards, Alberto
Again just Ford. No Ferrari no Fiat. I have visions of installing the wrong bulb and watching the dash melt.
Not to worry. The led "bulbs" draw less current than a conventional bulb so 'dash meltdown" isn't possible. As a matter of fact they don't even get that warm.
Thanks. Its a project I'd like to tackle. It was suggested that I just bypass the rheostat as that usually helps but the LEDs seem a better idea. I'm putting some miles on her and putting together a list.
Yes. See what you're using size wise and order accordingly. You may want to try one first before ordering all of them. You can find them in metric sizes. We also use LED stop and signal lights as they're much easier for other cars to see at night.
Hi, Jim! Was going through my old magazine collection the other day, and I found this interesting article about your car on the March 1993 issue of "Sports Car International"; I remember buying that issue back in the days only because of the foldout poster of the Dino. Anyways, I managed to scan the foldout (Photo credit: Art Webb) and digitally repair the image so it could be printed or used as a computer's wallpaper on the desktop. I also scanned the article, if you or anyone are interested, just pm an e-mail address and I'll send them over. Image Unavailable, Please Login
