    Barbecue King (Charlotte)
    Dish (Charlotte)
    Cabo Fish Taco (Charlotte)
Jake's Good Eats (guess where.....yep, Charlotte).

Jake's is fantastic! We've been there several times and have had extremely positive experiences with each meal!

Only one I've been to (regularly) is "Southern Kitchen" in Tacoma, WA

But the quality has gone to sh*t in the last year, so we stopped going.

Before the Senna movie I went to Fab Hot Dogs in Reseda. They deep fry their dogs because, well, hot dogs aren't fattening enough.

On a side note, Chili My Soul is closed. The owner died a few years ago and the business closed with him.

Abe's BBQ, Clarksdale, Mississippi, was featured on one of these shows.
It is fabulous! My wife who is not typically a big eater had seconds.
If ever again within a hundred miles of the place I'll be back for thirds.

Last summer we ate dinner at the Silk City Diner in Philadelphia and it was absolutely fabulous. It was featured on DDD but also on several other shows.

Actual real gourmet comfort food at diner style prices. Burgers, fried chicken and meat loaf of course but also salmon, calamari, tuna burgers, an excellent steak and all prepared with great spices and seasonings.

It was so good that we had lunch there the following weekend when we were back to pick up my daughter from volleyball camp at Villanova.

    Highly, highly recommended!

I don't remember the place but it had the salad with french fries on it. Sounds awesome.

Just returned from Vegas and our first two meals (dinner and breakfast) were at Hash House a Go Go. We kept regreting after all our other meals that we just didn't go back there for all of
our meals. Amazing food - big enough to split, great presentation, and for a good price. Try their drinks. We loved the Bloody Mary BLT, margaritas, cafe samore, and some watermellon drink. Every plate that came out demanded a stare, a watery mouth, and a picture! I highly recommend going there!!!

    Since then:

    Gloria's
    North End Caffe

    Both really good.

Also Slater's 50/50 (from Bacon Paradise). Over rated.

I got word DeFalco's Italian Deli & Grocery in Scottsdale, AZ will be on Diners Drive Ins and Dives in the future, the food is insanely good, it's a bit pricey, but not too bad.

Have you been to that Chompie's place? Adam couldn't beat the challenge but those brisket sliders looked good. :)

They finally came to Toronto! I'll have to check out the places he stopped at. I did eat at A.J. Bombers which won best burger in MKE on food wars and that burger joint was pretty amazing.

AJ Bombers is good, but I think everyone in Milwaukee, besides AJ's, couldn't believe AJ's won that comparison. Sobelman's (the losing burger joint), is in a different league. It's near a holy experience. :)

I also really enjoy the burger at Upper 90. Maybe I'll go to Sobleman's sometime this week since I heard so much about it.

Be sure you're hungry and your stomach can handle a fair amount of grease. :D They're really pretty good if you don't mind the occasional 1500 calorie burger.
