    Hy guys, I'm buying a 2017 car from Official dealer and it isn't Ferrari Approved. Now I have a question: which differences between Cars with tag "Ferrari Approved" and Cars without it but with Ferrari power Warrenty extension.

    The photos you posted show the car as wearing a Ferrari Approved numberplate - look for recent posts in this section by safe4now to explain the difference - I think the power warranty is more limited in its coverage - to me it feels like a car that should be able to be sold as Approved

    Yes the car had Ferrari approved but expired in September 2022. The Dealer told me I could pay for 2 year Ferrari Power warranty but I have some doubts: Can the car be considered “Ferrari approved” if “2 years Ferrari approved warranty is expired? Or “Ferrari approved” only means that the dealer did some inspections on the car…

    Anyway my experience is Ferrari approved only means it's been looked at by the dealer and meets oem standards, but nothing more. I do not think it speaks to warranty. Either you have a balance of oem warranty , or you have an extended warranty.

    Ferrari power warranty is the extended warranty and can come in different time periods. Last I recall my dealer was offering them on all pre-owned sales for 2 years , though you paid for it either in the sales price or added to the sales price. I used to buy the power warranty each year for my older cars . I have a new car now and I think it has a 3 or 4 year oem warranty , lol , I don't even know...

    Ferrari power15 warranty is the extended warranty, it includes everything (like the original manufacturer’s warranty), that’s the one you want.

    Approved means the car can get the warranty, then it’s up to the official dealer to add the warranty or not and for how long (1 year or 2 years).

    My 2013 Cali30 came with a 2-year Power15 warranty (peace of mind when buying a fist ferrari in my opinion).

    If I understand correctly, the only warranty that's as comprehensive as the initial warranty is the "extended warranty" when it's subscribed to immediately follow the 3-year warranty, and could cover 1 or 2 years.
    So after 5-years there is not option to get the same coverage as the initial warranty.

    Now there is an option to extend for year 6 and year 7. It does not end at year 5 anymore. There are posts on F chat addressing this question
