I was just playing around on the Rolex site and configured a platinum day-date with fluted bezel, and ice-blue dial with roman numerals and the list price is $63K.
I clearly remember speaking to my AD about that very type watch about 2 years ago and being told the price was ~$95K. I remember this because there was a grey market one for sale in Miami (unworn) for about $65K so I told my AD their list price is insane since I could buy an unworn one on the secondary market AND buy a $30K watch for the price they’re asking. She agreed it was nuts.

Is my memory screwed, or have they dramatically dropped the price???

I must be losing it, or the AD thought I was talking about one with diamonds. Weird, I remember it so clearly.

One thing is for sure - the chance of Rolex actually dropping the MSRP of anything is basically zero. :)
