My friend owns this car and it’s now in Vancouver BC and not for sale! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
So I have some wheels that I never cared for (swapped them for 6.0s) on my Roadster. Have no use for them....are they some version of an SV wheel? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does anybody know for sure which SV Roadster this is? Because this should be XLA12421, not the yellow Coupe quoted above. I guess Dutton mixed them up. 1999 Lamborghini Diablo SV Roadster 2dr Man 5sp 5.7i [Rel. Jan] (duttongarage.com)

That is NOT a SV. Firstly Duttons are well known for lying about their cars, fabricating histories, etc, etc. Monarch Motors was the Lamborghini importer at the time. They have a history of buying end of production "specials" as cheaply as they can. They were also Lotus importer, so they'd buy a dozen 1994 Lotus Esprit S4 that remained unsold and badge them as 50th Anniversary 1997 models, or buy end of production GT3 cars and slap S4S body kits and wheels on them and call them GT3S. They did the same with the Lambos. They imported 6 cars, all '99 VT Roadsters without the front diff. Since they were VT's in every aspect, but without the front diff, so not SV's either, the factory did not badge them. They had no VT or SV badges on them. This is one of those 6 cars. Duttons bought it from the first owner and sold it to the second. They gave him this fantasy story that it's a SV "supported" by the fact that the engine bay air boxes have SV stickers on them with the part numbers (ALL Roadsters have that). They also told him that it had 6.0 wheels because it was an "evaluation" car for the wheels. It was also an "evaluation" car for the 6.0 wing (which actually it's a fake 6.0 wing made out of fibreglass). That second owner then proceed to add the rear SV badge and swap the VT metal gate to the SV black gate. This ad is from when the second owner put the car back on consignment with Duttons. What is a shame is that Duttons tarnished this car's image with all their crap. This is an extremely clean car in absolute perfect condition and it does not deserve this back story. It's current owner (the third) looks after it extremely well and it's joined a Murcie SV, Aventador and Countach.
Thanks a lot for your valuable info, do you know by chance which one this is? Since obviously not XLA12421 as mentioned in the ad. https://duttongarage.com/Lamborghini-Diablo-SV~1509
