posted over on lamborghini talk dot com, posting here as well for interest. This is a very special SE30. If anyone has any additional facts or corrections to this information, please chime in. They made 150 SE30 cars, from LA12000 to LA12150, and this is the very first one - LA12000. Painted in one off Diablo-only color of "Azzurro Sirena Metalizzato" - Blue Sirena Metallic. I first saw this car in pieces at Steve Gleaner's shop earlier in the month. All body panels were off, undergoing a full restoration including a respray in the original color. The work was magnificent with such incredible attention to detail. This car just won 3rd place at Pebble Beach concours in Monterey, and is the very first Diablo to ever reach the level of snobbery to even be invited to Pebble beach! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I took this photo at the Techno-Classica in Essen (Germany) in 2014. Is it perhaps this Diablo LA12000 ? Unfortunately, the photo was taken from an unfortunate angle. I can't see if it has the two air intakes on the hood and I didn't take a photo of the information sheets on the dashboard. Unfortunately, I can only see the selling price (150,000 euros). Kind regards Zdenek Image Unavailable, Please Login
Same car indeed, if you zoom in on this photo you can see LA12000 on the 2nd A4. Pretty good price for the car.
I apologize but when I zoom in on the picture I can only read the price, everything else is blurry and illegible. But my other suspicion has just been confirmed, the car in my photos does not have the two air intakes on the hood. I have just found another photo where you can see the vehicle in the background. No problem, I had to squint my eyes as well. I can't see the air intakes either, but the image does really say LA12000. And underneath the VIN it says Farbe: Weltweit nur 1 fahrzeug in der (Worldwide just 1 vehicle in the) farbe Azzurro Sirena Metalizzato (colour ...) (ORIGINALFARBE)!!! (Original colour). This website has pictures of the car with and without the roof scoops, and also says "Originally equipped with Jota roof scoops - at one point the car had them removed but they were installed back.". So I'd say it is the same car, also because just one example was produced in this colour.
Dear Mr. Collins, thank you very much. What did you use to enlarge the photo ? When I enlarge it on my computer, it is completely blurry and unreadable Now I can translate the entire text: First owner First paint First Engine First Transmission Matching Numbers New Service New clutch New Brakes New Tires With all Keys, manual and service book. 20.000 Euro in Invoices Kind regards Zdenek
Hi Zdenek, I clicked the photo in my browser (Chrome) and was able to zoom in that way. I did not use the combination of ctrl + scroll wheel, as this indeed turns the picture blurry. It is also possible to view the source of the webpage and open the picture that way. Here's the full picture in (I hope) better quality. Best regards Image Unavailable, Please Login Edit: adding it like this does screw up the quality. Here's a direct link to the flickr source, sorry for the weird link.
