Welcome to spring! Between the Boardwalk drive and the Exotic Car Night events, we had a great opening weekend for the driving season. That season continues with one of the signature events of the DFW chapter, the 4nd Annual Primavera Texana Del Motore Spring Run (formerly, The Poker Run) on April 29th. The FCA Primavera Texana Del Motore Spring Run will commence from Joe Pool Lake at 9 AM April 29, 2006 and travel though a scenic southern route. Details about starting and ending locations will be provided to entrants. To make thing interesting, the tour will incorporate a series of short skills contests at the stops. At the final destination, points will be added up and prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd place, along with some door prizes. An application is available now the DFW website at http://www.fcadfw.com. Entry cost is $30 to cover the cost of insurance, prizes, and includes 1 Tshirt. You are responsible for your lunch costs. The artwork for the Tshirt this year is created by the same artist who did the Strade Di Autnno shirt in the fall. The artwork can be seen at http://www.fcadfw.com/PTM06.shtml We would like to thank Norwood Performance and Ferrarichat.com for their sponsorship of this event. Please support these sponsors, they are good friends to the members of the Ferrari community. Norwood Performance's website is http://www.NorwoodPerformance.com, and Ferrarichat is http://www.FerrariChat.com Just as a reminder, our insurance requires that you be an FCA member to drive a car in this event. The car you drive does not have to be a Ferrari -- but I would strongly recommend something that handles well. If you have questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Entry forms are available at http://www.fcadfw.com/PTM06.shtml

White 328. I found a way to be here. I'll have a small passenger though. By the way, how do we get extra t-shirts?
The 'Teg is not worthy of such an event (let alone keep up with some of you guys) but my entry form has been sent to support the event.
Wil - there is still enough time for you to buy my 911 slantnose cabriolet. She did fine keeping up last year!
Sounds like a BLAST! I might have a conflict, but will continue on trying to work this one out. (Tillman, thanks for the personal touch in the PM). Looking forward to meeting everyone.... someday soon I hope. Regards. P.S. saw a red 430 today at Park/Preston Rd. would be great for her/him to show.
Tillman- is this a hard and fast rule this time? I know there have been other times where the insurance didn't require membership. Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware so if they need to join, they have time to.
It's my understanding, per Regional, that membership is required. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a fully accurate list of the FCA members, so I'll have to rely on everyone's word. Hope that clears things up....
Received so far: Grigio 328 Titanium 360 Yellow 348 White Integra The lead time on the Tshirts is going to make this all very tight timewise. If you're planning on going, send me a PM or email when you drop your entry in the mail so that I know what to add to the shirt order. I'd hate to get someone's entry close to the event date and not have a shirt for them that day. Dave and I thank you T
BTW, big thanks go to Tillman, he has been doing alot of the heavy lifting this year in the Poker Run planning, since I've been busy with work. Tilman's been doing all the administrative stuff while letting me concentrate on planning the route. If not for Tillman's help, I would have been up **** creek without a paddle! I also have an unavoidable out of town trip that weekend so I won't even get to go on the rally this year. Thanks a million, Tillman.
Hey, Jonathan, you might want to drive one of your trucks and maybe "pick up" a little business. Oops, may not be any Lambo's on this outing!
