As the title states, anyone have good tricks and/or products to share for removing the blue'ish denim stains/markings/color from light color interiors?

I recall a former SoCal. 599 owner driving around with towels on his seat to prevent this from occurring, but what if the markings are already there?

    Thanks.

Its not a Ferrari, but my wife's DD is a MDX with light beige leather seats.

Her jeans transfer a lot. I get it off with a Board Hair brush and MF towel and Ultima Interior gel shampoo cleaner. I seal the seats with Ultima Interior guard plus. It works, it mild ion the leather and makes next time cleaning very easy.

Good Luck, I would test a smaal area on the back of the seat to check for color fastness. Wait until it dries and make sure your OK with the result.

I had zero issues and have used this on Porsches, Acura's, Infiniti's and Bentleys.

Leatherique Pristine Clean is safe to use on all leather types for removing staining.

Leather Master dye transfer cleaner has worked great for me. ^^^^Pristine clean is also an excellent product.

Let us know how you make out!

I find foaming leather cleaners work better than something like Prestine Clean. It draws the dirt, stain, dye, etc. out, rather than having to rub it out.

I find that leatherique products work best in serious heat. The rejuvenator oil works much better in the high heat of the summer. All the junk lifts to the top, and then the pristine clean finishes off the job.

What comes off the seats is disgusting.

    leatherique works great

as mentioned, the heat is what will give best results.

put it on the seat, leave it out in the sun. or, wrap the seats with a trashbag and turn on the heater. It will make the leather "sweat" and thus dirt and grime sloat to the surface.

whatever you do, lots of scrubbing is never good for leather seats as you will remove the leather coloring, so a re-dye might be necessary.

Gtechnique is a good leather coating type product, makes cleanings much easier
