Decibel (dB) Levels for 458 Speciale

I think you'll struggle at 105 static / 92 driveby on a standard exhaust

 

If you're going to laguna seca on the 105 db day then you should be able to meet it with stock exhaust.

I have full capristo exhaust system in speciale and with it being turned off; I was measured at 108 db at sonoma raceway. The db reading between sonoma and laguna seca is off by about 5 db (laguna seca's being higher).

Note: at laguna seca they will allow you to go out in a different run group to test the db reading. In first lap go by sound station in 3rd gear and then second lap go by in fourth gear (full throttle both times). They will then give you the reading and you can figure out the best way to do it within your run group (note; when you are doing the "test" the black flag doesn't count towards the 3 and you're done for the rest of the day)

 

It is SO SAD if you get the black falg at all tracks .... don't do it !
