    Has anyone had experience servicing a Daytona trunk release cable.
    Mine is working ok at the moment however the emergency cable under the gas door is frozen solid.
    I fear it is rusted inside the tube in which it travels.
    I want to replace the emergency cable however before doing so I would like to get some comments from some of the folks here who have ventured into this area.
    At the same time I want to replace the existing trunk latch cable with a new one so they are both working well.
    The thought of one of these cables rusting and breaking and not being able to get the trunk open is terrifying.
    Any tips would be more than welcome.

    I've done several, including replaced the tubes, etc.
    Same with hood & fuel door release cables.
