Cut Spyder #2 condition sold at auction in France I believe in April 2015 $741k , so much for the gap between coupes and cut cars! Another non factory Spyder ( this one with an aluminum body and engine to comp specs coming up for auction on this side of the pond estimate $950k-$1.2m) anyone know of nothing else? Chuck
i think a gap will eventually develop between coupes and cut cars(and usa cars converted to euro spec) as people feel that classiche certification is important. this may be especially important in the emerging markets.
I always found cut cars to carry a price tags just a touch more than coupes- like 50k or so Just my experience from what I've run across over time. Some will say they are worth a touch less, or the same or a touch more But Ed makes a Good point about people defining originality through Classiche now more than ever...
