Daytona Carbon Fiber Racing Seats vs Carbon Fiber Racing Seats

Daytona pattern looks better but is less comfortable for me due to all that stitching, so the standard race seat in Large was my choice.

 

Preferred the standard carbon racing seat so went for that

 

I went with Daytona Carbon Fiber Racing Seats on the GTB. I'm hoping to get a chance to sit in a car with these seats before the GTS order I've got is finalized. The carbon fiber seats look much nicer in an open top car but comfort is going to be important too.

 

I’m usually not a Daytona fan but for GTB I went with those racing seats. I like the stripe options they offer vs the regular CF seemed too plain for me.

But if I didn’t do racing seats I’d probably drop the Daytona option.

 

I wish we could get the ventilation with carbon seats…

 

This! It's the reason I didn't go with the carbon seats, I would rather have the ventilation.

 

With the GTS it'll get even more interesting. My wife is really into the concept of the neck warmers. Anyone know whether they can be had with the carbon seats? Seems highly doubtful to me....

Does anyone have experience with the neck warmers on the Porto M? I did a quick search here and could find people with 'em in their build, but no mention of how well they work. Worth changing seat type for 'em?

 

Indeed, for me for the GTB getting the more performance oriented seats made sense. For the GTS, I think comfort would be my primary concern.

I wish I could get the aesthetics of the carbon fiber backs of the race sears but with relative plushness of the standard seats.

That’s not an option it seems and we’re stuck with the standard seat backs which don’t look particularly appealing.
