Changing the time was originally a political ploy crafted to save energy, but I think that is a hard argument to prove in the 21st century. Even if so, any savings are more than offset by the loss in personal productivity. Best to leave the time alone- pick one or the other and stick to it.

    Haha.

Actually it does confuse my dog.

Agriculture you basically start at sunrise and work till sunset. Problem nobody wants to work until 9pm or so. When we had orchards. I got stuck supervising the harvest for two seasons. How I know a lot of Mexican immigrants. You'd get about 30 people picking, since they got paid by the bin filled and not by the hour. Getting them to stay past 5pm was a real hassle.

Here in the UK it is not until Easter weekend this year. Always the last weekend in March.

I always believed it was something it do with lighter mornings for farmers but I'm not sure.

Don't mind them going back but going forward...
I am off work over Easter so it'll be less bothersome.

Actually has the opposite effect - darker mornings, but with more light lasting into the early evening. Benefits retailers, as more people will get out and spend money after work.

Not good for farmers, and was definitely not good for drive-in movie theaters back in the day. :)

All we hear about on the news is about more funding being wasted on yet another study about sleep deprivation and how sticking to a steady sleep schedule is so important....the irony is deafening.
