If anyone has a Dannmar Commander 7000 or Commander 7000X 4 post automotive lift I could take a look at I would greatly appreciate it. Thinking of purchasing same. Thank you.
I have matching Dannmar lifts in my garage. I don't know what model they are, but they are the 7k pound versions. I have the optional removable solid center deck on one, the caster kit, drip pans, jack plate, aluminum ramps, and offset plates for the control mechanisms. They are not as robust and solid feeling as the Backyard Buddy, or some of the other high end lifts. But, they are much less money to purchase. I had an issue with some damage to parts during shipping, which was difficult to get resolved because of the extreme cost and weight to ship the parts. However, overall, I am very happy with them. I don't have mine anchored to the floors, and they work good that way, but when I initially looked at them before buying, someone had them anchored and they were impressively solid and stable. Also, I figured that the cars I put on them are about 1/2 (or less) of the 7k pound weight ability, so it should be safe on that aspect. I have had them for at least 5+ years, and they work just as they should.
what is the over all height of your garage? Meaning, How high does the height have to be in order to fit the lift and a Ferrari 355 and a Ferrari 430? Thx
Height not a problem. Warehouse Eighteen (18) plus feet. Want to physically inspect design and build quality of lift before making a decision to purchase or not.
