    Having owned my share of modern exotics, I wanted to look into building something custom. Maybe a restomod Porsche or something similar to what you see on shows like Bitching Rides.

    something custom and fun would be a nice complement to the current stable.

    does anyone know of car builders in the Scottsdale area who are trustworthy, reliable and good to work with? I though about going the route of a singer but honestly I’d rather spend 1/2 million plus on something else. I’m thinking spending 150ish for something custom and fun.

    many suggestions??

    I'm in Arizona, although I'm not a shop or anything. I also do things that are a bit out of the realm of normal, so if you're looking for something different, I'd work with you. If you're looking for a standard "restomod" there are a few very good shops in the area that do quality work, from domestics to euros.

    Suggestions ? Probably not what you're looking for, but here's one.

    Unless you're planning to build something truly unique and different than umpteen million belly-button restomods, including those made of P cars, already existing and willing to spend accordingly (=$$$...), how about buying one already done and if anything, have it tweaked to your liking.
    You’ll be time, money and headaches ahead.

    If your going in the Porsche direction, talk to Chris at Turbokraft in Mesa, AZ. He builds some wild stuff.
    I think the Dino restorer is in Rio Rancho, CA, not N.M.
