Here's an odd thing , that black 365 for 175000 has been for sale for 2-3 years and it's starting price was 99000, also interesting that manual 400 start at 72500 while autos start at 40000, quite a difference!!

When I was looking for mine at the end of 2014, I could only see two of them on this site in four months.
    And now, only January...
Strong prices. Don't know if they sell

    Good day!
Let's update this thread a little bit...
I did it the way Sam did: datas are from "mobile.de" website wich is called "automobile.fr" in my country and can be found in any European country I think.

Here is a little summary of what I found, will do it without the pictures cause I am a bit lazy :)

    365 GT4 2+2:
    11 cars for sale from 75K to 150K €, average 106200€
Found only 1 car already for sale in Sam's last post (December 2015) which asking price is lowered from 79500€ to 75000€

    400/400i:
    21 cars for sale from 33K to 150K €, average 84750 €
3 cars already for sale 18 months ago. One has its asking price lowered from 69900 to 67500, one from 105900 to 99900.

    412:
    13 cars for sale from 70K to 127,5K €, average 93,800 €
2 cars already for sale in 2015. For one the asking price is logically lowered from 90K to 84,9K € for the other one it is audaciously up from 75000 to 85000!!! :)

So no big changes: nearly same number of cars for sale and approximately same average asking prices...
The only thing I notice is that on 45 cars for sale today on this website only 6 were already there in December 2015.
Can we guess the other ones have been sold??

    Some of them, at least...

As for the interest of importing for USA to Europe, after a rough calculation for a French exemple I would say you will need :
5K € for shipping (from the seller to a French port, all inclusive)
A 5.5% VAT and 0 taxes because this is a >30 years old car...
1000/1500 € you would give to an official Ferrari dealer to get a "attestation de conformité" wich would allow you to register the car in France.

Of course all that must be cheaper if you are a professional and used to doing it...

Hope I have not been too boring and apologize for my approximate english which I hope you managed to understand....

    Cheers!

    I found a nice example!

#36879 had been discussed here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/365-gt4-2-2-400-412/434896-82-400i-scottsdale-2.html
Sold by Gullwing in 2015 for 37500$/32800€ (asking price)
The car came to France in 2015, spent some time at Pozzi workshop for a serious overhaul.

The car is discussed here on a French forum: https://www.theferrarista.com/forum-ferrari/topic/9978-vendue-ferrari-400i-1982-excellent-etat-unique-et-fiabilisée/, for sale by a French private seller after one year of ownership in September 2016.

Asking price was 50000€/57000$. Sold two months later to a Spanish buyer.
Seller claims the car is priced "at cost".

    So: 32800 + 5000 (shipping) + 1800 (5,5VAT/taxes) + 1000 (papers) = 40600€

Of course it is just an estimate but it looks like it is possibly economic to import the car.
Well, if you don't mind about the holes in fenders!! :)

    Good day Stéphane,

Thank you very much for the follow up and the additional information!

I really should get back to posting the monthly asking prices, as it is interesting and helpful to watch this info!

Thanks again for your follow up!

    Cheers,

    Sam

Actual auction result Artcurial Motors Monaco of 02 July 2017, 365 GT4 2+2 chassis 17481 for 101,932€ (close to 118kUSD at today's rate) including buyer premium and taxes:

    Monaco 2017 by Artcurial Motorcars - Sale N° M1030 - Lot N° 162 | Artcurial

I am just surprised that Artcurial quoted 124 units produced for this type of car.
