According to the 348 Buyer's Guide in the April 1999 issue of "Auto Italia", there were only 68 Spiders imported into the UK. They also list the following numbers for UK cars: 348 tb - 130 cars 348 ts - 261 cars 348 GTB - 14 cars 348 GTS - 15 cars 348 GTC - 8 cars
68 RHD spiders,1 I believe has been wriiten off. I have found about 29 of them, and out of all the ones I viewed there wasn't a nice one.
Somebody mounted the tires on the wheels backwards. Look carefully. Not sure whether fronts or rears, but they're reversed.

Can someone with a 348 please confirm whether the cigarette lighter socket is powered when the ignition is off? I need to know as I plan to use a battery conditioner connected to the socket, when the car is garaged. Jas
That's a lot of Spiders Was the Spider more popular in the US than the other models? Does anyone know what the US stats are for the rest of the 348 range? Just asking because I see so many US owners of 348's have Spiders, whereas the tb/ts are are the more popular car in the UK. Jas
2,895 348tb's and 4,230 348ts's were produced globally (plus 1090 Spiders). To put it in perspective, Ferrari made 1,311 F40's...so the 348 Spider is more rare than the vaunted F40.
