Ops, I bought this thinking it would plug into the cable that I already have installed on the battery where the ctek charger plugs into.
I found out it doesn't plug into that.

Checking to see if anybody is using this version and how? Would I have to run another different connect to the battery OR is there a SAE connector somewhere in the f430 compartment that this plugs into.

This is the version I bought:

Not sure if this will answer your question - but here goes. I am using this connector on my 2008 430. I connected it directly to the battery and then my CTEK 4.3 to the connector. I could not find any other way to use it. However others may chime in if they have another way to use the connector. The CTEK 4.3 is not the OEM Ferrari Maintainer. If you are asking if the OEM battery maintainer can be used with the connector you are referring to - I do not think so.

I have the exact same pigtail and love it. Fortunately my car had the regular battery minder pigtail installed (SAE??) and it just plugged in. I would suggest that you get one of these $1.95 pigtails to replace the one that is one there right now. The CTEK Comfort will plug right in. Mine is connected to the hot and ground terminals under the cover behind the drivers seat as it's convenient to plug in when I exit the car. Don't use a crocodile type pig tail.

Can I ask what you are trying to achieve ?

Your last post looks like the standard aftermarket so a CTEK should plug straight in without adapter - what is on your charger ?

If I understand what you are trying to do is to have indicator LED's on your pigtail, you need to replace your existing connection to the battery with one of these:
    Accessories - CTEK Battery Chargers
The part you purchased is to convert from an SAE plug to the Ctek style plug which isn't what you need.

i bought CTEK battery change and had a shop install the connections to the battery, which is the outlet I show above. The charger itself plugs into that when I want to change the battery. I assumed the pigtail I would would also pluf into that some cable, but as 'timba' noted, there is a different type of cable I would need to use. Which is noted earlier and has the SAE 2 connector.

So thanks guys, I got the answer I was looking for.. Just I didn't check my connections before buying the pigtail..
