My Battery Tender was plugged in after a run and of course it has the red (charging) light come on. A day or so later I check to see that the green (conditioning) light is now visible. Its not! Odd. I unplug/replug the BT from the wall outlet and it goes green but less than a minute later its red again. I try it a few more times and same deal:green then red. So I go to unplug the pigtail and take the car out for a ride and realize that connection was not fully engaged. When I comeback the pig tail gets a good push in and everything works as it should. Could your CT to car connection be suspect?

I had exactly the same problem when charging the battery of my 512tr yesterday. Despite that the battery had a low charge, the charger progressed very quickly to step 5, only to get stuck there with the red light that had switched on. I unplugged the charger and tried again but this ended with the same result.

Thereafter I put the charger in the reconditioning mode and that seems to work; the light for step 6 has just swithed on after about 24 hours of charging. No red lights (yet)

I hooked mine up to a "Battery Tender". Charge light comes on but eventually it goes to alternating red and green, which means possible bad battery. Battery seems fine to me.

Now im trying my schumacher maintainer.

Does everyone turn their battery off with the knob in the trunk when you hook up a charger/maintainer during temp storage?

Don't do that. It will reset all the ECUs to baseline default and they have to re-initialize and re-learn all over again. There is no need to disconnect the battery when using a CTEK maintainer.

I'm thinking maybe my CT is to small for my 360 because my CT lights to fully charged then 5-6 hrs later i get error light as in the picture above??

I don't have a ctek charger. Anyone use other maintainers? Most of the maintainers are 1.25 to 1.5amp. Looks like the ctek is 5? Wow! What's the rating on the official Ferrari charger?

Wonder if the draw is greater than 1.5 amps preventing a full charge using my maintainers. The charger gets hot cause instead of going into float mode its stays in continuous charge mode.

Looks like you're getting error in ANALYSE (5) part of the cycle. That part checks if the battery drops to 12v. The battery is probably dropping too soon so the CTEK thinks the battery is no good. I've had these error once and I believe it was because my engine lid was left open. There is a sensor that detects if the engine lid is open. I think that is where the drain was coming from. Closed it and restarted the cycle and had no problems since. Make sure all your doors, trunk and what not are closed.

That was exactly the same as what I experienced two days ago. Your Ctek charger is not too small for the battery in the 360; 5A charging should be more then enough IMO.

BTW: I just unplugged my charger; it had been charging for about two days and was already in step 7 for about 24 hours after I'd put it in reconditioning mode (after experiencing the same problem as you've had in the regular charging mode).

Thanks for all your input guys I would never of thought something so simple would cause such a hed fck it's been doing my hed in I've been chasing a parasitic drain for wks had the car at my sparkys last and he found no drain...WTF yesterday I made sure all doors eng cover luggage compartment were all closed hooked up my CT left it for the night. I'll be home in couple of hrs to check out the situation. After reading tys post it kinda makes sense I'll post my findings. Just got home and went straight to my garage and checked the car great news C/T is working as it should no error lights as yet.
