Ctek 7002 "clicking" but seems to be working

I have a Ctek 7002 which I recently connected to a brand new Odyssey AGM battery recently installed in my F8. The charger would go through the charging steps and overnight goes green. I noticed today (about 5 days since car was last started) that the 7002 is clicking every few seconds. When I checked the battery voltage, it showed 12.74 volts. I disconnected the charger and reconnected it and it started its charge cycle over and voltage was increasing past 13.4 volts and the LED was at the stage 3, one step before the "pulse" phase. It seems that the charger is working fine, except maybe not while in pulse mode. Perhaps this is normal when a battery is brand new and fully charged?
