Last time I checked it was around 20%, at least for our NA market - I don't track outside of NA so perhaps Mike would have that data for other markets. Definitely higher than 5%.
I called them about it but they didn’t even attempt to show any interest in selling it to me. I just dropped mine off for a full service.
Don't get your hopes up. I do not understand people in any sales type position that do not lift a finger to try & make something happen. Sent from my Samsung Note 8 using Tapatalk
The one at Porsche Monterey...received all the docs but just didnt seem right. Little birdie offline cautioned same. Think I need to reset for a non factory stripe car...
Started tracking CS before 2010. Easy to check my registry. Where do you come up with "at least 50%"?

3-4 forum member actively looking for CS’s. Low mile examples primarily. People looking at these as investments as opposed to cars to drive? I just turned 25k miles in mine and completed a full fluid service on Friday. I Intend to do a rally end of Oct this year and one a year. In 20 years, I’d assume a new “Wayne Carini” (shoot, or even Wayne himself) will still be interested in a 50k mile CS that is bone stock with a pretty solid service history.
As time moves forward mileage will be less critical, but you’ll have to wait another 30 years for that timeline. At that point, who knows what the World looks like. Just drive them a reasonable amount and take good care of them. That way you win either way.
to maintain value, you have to have enough members of the general public. Given what kids are into these days, I'd bet that CS won't be worth much in 20 years. a similar example is collecting LPs. 30 years ago, there was a market. Now, there are still some diehard fans but the community is very small. Most people simply don't really care about LPs. I fear the same with internal combustion engine in 20 years.
