Woah, what a road trip. Thanks for posting those excellent photos.
" this is the fastest I have ever driven my car for the longest amount of time" I have a feeling this is what most everyone who drives with this group says the first time out with them. I know that was my initial response the first time I did an outing with the KC group. Incredible.
This F40 is pretty damn fast..... When it doesn't have a 308 in it's way! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Dave, Thank You for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm of 308s yesterday I have been following your modifications and work you have completed on yours with great interest as am following a similar path with mine. I hope to have it in good condition to be there with it next year. That was the first time I have seen many of these models outside of magazines or internet images. It was almost overwhelming the presence these cars have in reality.
For those that have not taken a look, there are pics posted in this thread. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72492

I'd like to hear driving impressions of whomever was in the Quattroporte. Also, which dealer provided it?
I won't say anything, because I didn't drive either Maserati. However, I heard several comments the Maserati didn't drive very well, but I don't know which one. Something about being unstable at the speeds we were going. However, the Bentley GT was just simply awesome!
The Quattro was fantastic, in fact one of the couples on our trip is buying one because of how this dealer, Maserati of St Louis, treated us. The Maserarti Spider was fast, I drove it and was impressed, but it did have more cowl shake than I felt it should have, a comment made by others. The Spider was still loved by all. The Bentleys just stole the show, both the Arnage and the GT. The GT is DAMN fast!
Wow, great event. I can wholeheartedly vouch for the roads in this area. My son goes to college in Arkansas and i have driven many of these roads(unfortunately in a Honda, not the fcar). Great sweepers, unbelievable road surfaces. If I was any closer I would grab one of those 7 spots. For people from CAlif. you would recognize driving on these roads, its more like flying, they are that smooth.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. I'll be sure to keep these roads in mind when making a trip in that direction. Looks like you all had a blast!
Great picture Dave. It was a great time and neat to meet the people behind the names here too. Deanna and I made it back to Des Moines today at 11 am. She liked the little blue spyder.
