    I don't have a lot of experience with exotic car repair, but does this sound right... $69k for a fender and door, before labor/paint?

    I know the 720S is practically top of the line, but are the production numbers really so low that it cost that much for parts?

    The article doesn’t say who provided the estimate but good advertising for the rental company. That number sounds a bit steep since the 720s fenders and doors are just aluminum and not carbon fiber. EBay even has the parts needed for a lot less if he wanted to skip the insurance hassle.

    That is the problem with McLaren’s, along with their own reliability. I backed into a telephone pole doing less than 10 miles an hour and created $140,000 of damage. It took six months to repair
