cracked AC control Knobs

We see broken HVAC dials often and I would be interested but only if as original.

 

We are able to repair most cracked knobs we encounter. Just send me a message if you have any issues.

 

I've received a couple emails asking if we repair broken parts and the answer is yes, we repair broken part often but in some cases, the parts have missing pieces. See these HVAC dials. And, let's face it - a replaced part would be better than a repaired part if we can get a replacement which is why I am all for getting these if the OP has a source.

I like the look of those aluminum knobs. Are there any pictures of those installed in a 360?

There are two sizes required for a 360 right?

 

Hi Kevin, yes, the center is larger than the ends. Also, the dial fits in a recess. I don't think the ones posted above would work. If we had enough folks interested in aluminum dials, we could design and build them in my shop

 

Correct. The HVAC face plate is the same for both with just different markings / graphics.

 

I have the cracked knob problem as of yesterday. I actually was thinking of replacing them with 430 knobs but can't source just the knobs.

Does anyone know if the 430 climate control module is plug'n play on a 360?

 

The 430 panel has different dials and different graphics form the 360 panel.

Thanks Dave - Yes that was acknowledged and known along with the knobs not being available sepertaely, but my question is: "Does anyone know if the 430 climate control module is plug'n play on a 360?" have you or anyone placed that pictured unit in a 360 and it worked without modification?

 

Oh, sorry - I misunderstood. The body is the same and I also believe the connector is the same. Can I confirm it would be no problem? No. But, I really don't see why it would. I'm not sure I understand your goal but worst case you could remove the 360 electronics and swap them into the 430 panel.

 

My goal is to replace my 360 knobs since one is broken with 430 knobs and if I can’t source 430 knobs I’ll just buy a 430 unit and swap it out if its compatible (the reason for my compatibility questions).

 

The knobs, 360 or 430 are not sold separately.

 

Please return and let us know if the swap works. My knobs aren't the best either.

 

I'll also add that the 430 dials are cast aluminum with plastic inserts on the back side.

 

I have a 360 with the 430 A/C pnl installed.
Its plug & play, no issues & looks great IMO.
I also have the 430 air vents installed. Similar to the Enzo & CS vents, but have a sliver ring around the black frame.

 

Looks like this. Sharp eyed viewers will also notice my driver side foot rest is mfg from a passenger side foot rest

Wow SD, I see a glimpse of a yellow tack as well which makes your dash similar to mine.
Those alum knobs will also go great with the alum knob on my 3 pedal​

Thanks for addressing the question - I was feeling confident it was compatible as most 360/430 parts are interchangeable. I also swapped my vents with the Enzo/CS vents (Looks much better than OE) since my vents were sticky.

 

Didn’t mean to hijack your thread - I would be interested in 430 style in a brushed aluminum or OE style.

What price point are you thinking?

I see a few people have bumped this thread over time. I've also been trying to find climate control knobs for the 360 / 430/enzo. No luck. I prefer not to pay $900 for a complete used unit just to get one damned knob lol

If no other options, I'll scan what I have and 3D print a new one, I suppose.
