Why not just call every car GM builds a Corvette such and such? The Corvette Crossover ****box. The Corvette 3 row ****box. The Corvette commuter ****box.

Personally I think it is stupid but Ford did it with the "Mustang" Mach-E and it didn't seem to hurt real Mustang sales - In fact, one could make the argument that the reason (and funding) they have to be able to maintain the testicular presence to release the 2023 Mustang with ICE V8 options and manual transmissions versus cow-towing to the masses and castrating it with only V6 ICE options and/or hybrid/EV mated to a thrilling automatic is at least partially due to the sales and associated profits from the Mustang Mach E.

So if that holds true for Corvette and the soccer moms and dads can buy/drive a "Corvette" SUV and that allows Chevy to continue to build badass ICE Corvettes then I am all for it.

    Cheers :)

“Played intelligently and with authenticity, however, the name Corvette should be a license to print money.“

History indicates the odds of gm doing this intelligently and authenticity is not great. Even if the first versions are good, you just know sooner or later the bean counters are goi g to slap the corvette badge on a figurative cimmaron.

are these corvettes going to be sold through chev dealers or corvette only dealers. Lots to work out.

Saturn part duex here we come:

    greatvidea though if executed properly

    "DNA that shouts corvette!"

Isn't a corvette SUV with transverse leaf springs just a wagon?

I told Mike Furman to put me on the list as soon as they have one. I'd happily drop the Cayenne Turbo S for a Corvette SUV, if it turns out to be what I'd expect from them. Look great next to the C8.

Hey, I kid you not, my favorite feature on the C8 is the rock solid bolster I can put my weight on getting out.
I expect the Corvette SUV will be plenty luxurious. I'm very comfy in the C8 and it'll just be more bigger.

  14. Yes, but I don't think it will be "more better". :p

I expect you'll be pleasantly surprised, if you're open to the concept. It checks a number of boxes for me so I'm getting on a few lists to insure an early example.

YES. Spin off the brand. Add a couple of electric to balance down brand emissions and mpg. Then bring out no mpg or emissions standards ice corvettes.

I started my lawn care company out of the back of a VW Rabbit.

Who knows, twenty years from now maybe a college student will start one from the back of a vette suv.:p
