Correct "Ferrari" font?

    I see this with a lot of "Ferrari" stuff and I really don't know the answer:

    The dot on the "i" in Ferrari is an oval, not a rectangle as it seems it should be.

    There are other, minor differences in the fonts too.

    The font with the oval dot is readily available for download, I have never seen the one with the rectangular dot available.

    When, if ever, did Ferrari change the font style?

    Can someone please explain that to me.
