Many have requested the correct Carello part numbers on the exterior lights of the Dino.
Listed below is the complete list and correct placement of each light. Additionally, how other lens that look the same may have been placed on the cars over time.

Rear tail light inner US version Carello# 12.310.718 RED 67 Date Code
Rear tail light outer US version Carello# 12.310.717 RED 67 Date Code
Rear tail light inner Euro version with center reflex Carello# 12.314.718 RED 67 Date Code
Center reflex for Euro lens Carello# 34.538.718
Rear tail light outer Euro version Carello# 12.310.717 AMBER 67 Date Code

Front turn US version above bumper Carello# 16.460.717 AMBER same both sides
Front turn Euro version on body Carello # 16.302.717 CLEAR same both sides

    Side marker US Version Carello# 14.500.718 AMBER (2) RED (2) Same #s
Bezels are different front to rear and side to side

Rear reflectors US version only Carello# 34.390.718 RED

As is so often the case the Italians often used the same light for many Marques and models.
For example the Alfa Romeo series 116 cars Alfetta and later model Sprint Veloce used the same front turn indicator. Great you say..however the Date code was changed to 1975. This of course cannot be on a Dino as the lens was not made. All Dino front turn indicator lenses on US version cars should have 1969 Date Code

The reflector on the rear of US cars were on the Daytona additionally, used in the tail light lens of the Alfa Montreal.

Rear tail lights with 1975 Date Codes are interchangeable and are identical but obviously incorrect.

To be correct make certain you have the right date codes and you have both inner and outer lens by number. It can be confusing as the Carello # 12.310 718 inner and 717 outer can both be RED

It's the placement by number and location that make it right or wrong. Of course US versions should never show AMBER on the outer rear as only the RED Euro with center reflex is correct. US cars have all RED in the rear.
    And look the same!

Old thread, but worth updating, maybe.

I've chased this a lot, and finally concluded that the Euro brake lenses don't have any Date Code on them.

Lots of photographic evidence, and it looks like the large reflector in the middle actually stops them from complying with the SAE standard that the Date Code refers to.

Having a Euro M, I'm not sure what a date code would look like on the tail lights...mine appear to be the same as in your photo.

If you look at the very bottom edge of the amber lens (under the Carello logo), you'll see "SAE ST 67" (though unfortunately, it is too fuzzy to make out in the picture I posted); that is the Date Code that folks often refer to...
