I seem to remember that the Sopwith Camel had rigging to counter the torque of the big rotary and sometimes the tail wagged the dog when the speed got too low.
No, B-35s and B-49s outside the Northrop plant after the program was cancelled. I would have liked to have seen them keep a few on as research airplanes, like the XB-70s. I don't think they ever actually built many Ho 229s.
