Remind me again please, where did you get your wheels and cross-drilled brake rotors? Our cars are almost identical, but for the wheels and rotors. BTW, are the wheels those 360 Modena wheels sold by the company out of FL on eBay. If so, they really look great and I've got to buy a pair. I think they are only asking about $1000.00 for a set of four 19" wheels. Thanks for the info.
I know the question was not directed at me but I can help with the wheel info, those rims are made by ROH and the model is called Modena. They are a true 3 peice rim and are a sister rim to the ones I have on my 355. Last time I checked the Modena rims were still available however the ones on my car are no longer made.
Jay: Thanks for the memories. I really miss New England some times (I grew-up and went to school in MA), but I have to admit it is nice to be able to drive my F-car and ride my Harley all year long. BTW, you and Robbie really have fantastic GF yellow F355s -Beautiful! I think we should have a show-down for "the baddest F355 on the planet". Best, Scott
Hey laxequis Buddy! Welcome back. I hope you caught my stupid answer to a question a while ago. The answer to your question is that there are two types of light assemblies available from Ferrari, S.p.a. One is the amber colored lens version for use in, for example, the U.S. The other is the clear colored lens version that is primarily used in the European countries. Each country has its own regulations regarding lighting, safety equipment, emission equipment, etc.. Some people (in the U.S.) will substitute the clear for the amber lenses. I may do it myself. See if you play nice and ask intelligent questions you'll get answers.
Yep, and the U.S spec cars have the side markers also. I have seen some of the U.S guys remove these side markers and change to clear front lenses, it is a cleaner look IMO.
Thanks Scott, Sam and others! New England is fantastic in the fall...nothing beats blasting down twisty country roads with dried leaves flying around behind you. This doesn't quite make up for the year round driving that the TX and CA guys enjoy though We have a great group ride planned for this Sunday through a solid hour of back roads up to a polo farm in MA, should get some good pics there (see New England section).
Peter: Great pictures. I wish I could get the type of photo ops you guys get. Geez, the only pictures I have of my car were taken by the guy selling it when I was buying it! LOSER!! (sorry, Tom).
