Conversion from Km/hr to MPH

I have just shipped my car (2013) from Canada to my Florida home where it will remain for the balance of the winter. I went into the settings and changed distance from kilometers to miles. My odometer changed to miles, and the small readout in the bottom bar on the left screen changed to miles per hour, but my speedometer, whether set to analogue or digital, still remains in kms/hr.

Has anyone figured out how to change the speedo? Could anyone try to make this change on their car (from miles to kilometers, or vice versa), and tell me if they are experiencing what I'm experiencing?

I just assumed you could flip the units on everything, the same way your can change language or temperature or units of pressure.
