    Hello All,

This year I landed my dream fun car, 355 F1GTS.

My DD is a 2008 BMW 335 xi and it's getting a little old since I usually don't keep DD's for more than a few years. The car has treated me well but I really love the look of the Maserati.

    I've got two major concerns:

How would this car do in snow? Unless we get a blizzard, normal winters are not very bad unlike what people think when they hear "Buffalo" worst case is 3-4 inches of snow maybe 10 days in a winter.

Next is service. This city does not have any exotic dealers or independents so I might need to have the car serviced in Toronto. (I'll be servicing my Ferrari myself but can't afford to do that with a DD)

Also, how reliable are these cars?

It seems I can find a sub 10k mile car well equipped for $65k ish...

    Thanks in advance.

    - No problems in the snow. It is all about good winter or snow tires, last time I checked the official winter tire was: Pirelli Sottozero (Serie II)

    - Great DD, no major issues, very reliable car as you'd expect them to be. People have done quite a lot of mileage in them. I know a QP-Auto in Italy with 250,000km and had done only regular servicing.

    - Get an Automatic, more reliable for a DD, avoid the F1 gearbox.

If you search around the older threads you'll see several discussions about daily drivers.

Great minds think alike - I have been searching for the right MGT for about one year now (only semi-seriously) and want to get into a 09S if possible. I test drove one @ the local Mas dealer and it was a blast. Cannot comment on snow-handling though but this is not a concern here.

I understand that 09 came with updated audio, bluetooth, etc. that is more user-friendly in the cabin. As always, I would be interested in your thoughts on the car, +/-, etc.
