the last 09 430 definitely does not make the same HP as a scud and the 2 cars sound completely different. Even the list i copied and pasted from is underwhelming in terms of differences between 06 and 08. a late 09 does not shift as fast as a scud - so this is all conjecture until someone can reference or cite a legitimate reference.

A nice article. FWIW, I purchased a 2012 McLaren 12C about two years ago. It is a CPO car and I purchase the McLaren factory warranty every year as peace of mind. I also have the annual service done every year at McLaren of Newport Beach. The car has had absolutely nothing wrong with it and it drives great. I can assure you the driving capability far exceeds that of a 430 or 458. It is a beautiful car and you won't see another at the local Cars and Coffee. The prices have depreciated enough that they are stable for now. I would not hesitate to buy one if your concerns are vehicle reliability.

Interesting. Didn’t you say it didn’t work on your 430?

I’d rather have the 430. Maybe your mclaren has been reliable but I wouldn’t want one and there are enough people in the know who mention maintenance and reliability on mclarens is a nightmare. Not to mention the 430 with s line exhaust is infinitely better sounding. To each their own.

    Never said that.
It works perfectly with my F430.

You said that ProX 3 is different from the X431, regarding Ferrari compability.
    What's the difference?

I must have misunderstood a previous comment. If they both are using the same Ferrari database then they should be the same and if they both work equally then I’m not sure if there is a difference. I had mistakenly read that somebody was not getting 431 to work and I assumed it was the same launch tool you can find in the play store which is nothing more than a standard OBD2 code reader.

ok, so my 07 is a September car so it sounds like it has all the 08+ goodies.
i dont have my 06 at my house but it will be here soon. without driving the cars back to back there is no discernible difference in shifting speeds from seat of the pants. once the 06 gets back i will drive them back to back.

I don't think late 07 car has the pressure sensor on the clutch hydraylic block near the throw out bearing, hasn't it?
