If that was a car it wouldn't have driven away very easily. It would also have to have tires 6" taller than the Loti in question.
Seriously. Sound childish. "You're a hater" would be response to every remark on Fchat. What's next: "Mommy, tell Junior to stop!" "Well, he hit me first!"
Looking at the rubber marks on the left front and the wall rash on the left rear, one hypothesis would be the following: - a car in the left lane was not quite able to squeeze by the Exige as the Exige moved into the lane from the right - the passing car's tire touching the left front of the Exige sent the Exige into a rightward spin, causing the left rear to impact the wall first - the relative position of the cars would pretty much put the passing car in the Exige's blind spot If this hypothesis is correct, which car owned the left lane should then be obvious. It would be helpful to have pics of the other car to confirm or refute this.
I'd have to agree with this hypothesis. The initial photos did not show the front of the car. The Lotus owner did not mention an impact on the front. He only mentioned being hit in the back. Doesn't quite make sense if the car hit him in the back and then passed him and hit him again in the front. It makes more sense that there was a loss of control on the part of the Lotus which - when out of control - careened into the left lane as another car was passing OR he (the Lotus driver) was moving into the left lane without noticing a car there and took evasive action when it suddenly appeared (a sudden jerk of the steering wheel to the right) to avoid the car (but still made slight contact with it). The sudden jerk to the right caused the Lotus to lose control and the back left hit the k rail. Again ... only based on the evidence and certainly not a professional opinion by any means ...
Any word on the police report? I did not happen to see another car anywhere from the scene to the 405 N. I had no idea that my thread would take on such huge traction on forums and blogs.
A convenient cell phone and life boat would of made sure there would be no chance of that happening. Oh wait, you had both of those.
Ronin stated the Porsche pulled over up the road? yet you did not see it? and I believe in your line of work you have great eyesight
I dont think he needs credibility. That video is now on every major forum. How long till it gets to Jalopnik and the others..
One more time for the dim witted. Have someone read it slowly to you... V C Section 21750 Overtake and Pass to Left Overtake and Pass to Left 21750. The driver of a vehicle overtaking another vehicle or a bicycle proceeding in the same direction shall pass to the left at a safe distance without interfering with the safe operation of the overtaken vehicle or bicycle, subject to the limitations and exceptions hereinafter stated. Amended Sec. 7, Ch. 674, Stats. 1996. Effective January 1, 1997.
After reading it real slowly, this piece you keep quoting is for a two lane road. You were on a highway and the porsche was in the lane already and you jumped in front of him. . . or tried to anyway. Even if you somehow make it to fit your situation, you weren't being interfered with because if you did operate safely you wouldn't have swung over to that lane. Because you would have you know... LOOKED. Maybe I should put this so you can understand. Yo Dog you B Slapped to the side flavor while Ray Charles actin. You be a mad crazy pilot yo. Hater. (seriously, you are like 65 right? You really talk like that?)
With Ronin being mechanicly inclined, how hard would it be for him to make a fire LOOK like an accident? As simple as a pinhole in a gas line?
Here ya go dim wit.. V C Section 21751 Passing Without Sufficient Clearance Passing Without Sufficient Clearance 21751. On a two-lane highway, no vehicle shall be driven to the left side of the center of the roadway in overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction unless the left side is clearly visible and free of oncoming traffic for a sufficient distance ahead to permit such overtaking and passing to be completely made without interfering with the safe operation of any vehicle approaching from the opposite direction. Amended Ch. 50, Stats. 1973. Effective January 1, 1974. You fools enjoy yourselves..remember have someone read very slowly to you..
This is starting to sound like that famous Texas 348 drama of last year ....entertaining, nevertheless !
