With Mrs Rampa driving the back up car! - the sort of bits any Ferrari needs on a 100km journey. 1: sense of humour ! 2: spare battery starter. 3: large hammer, grips & Chave Ingles. 4: cable ties 5: Fita 6: more cable ties ! 7: 9 year old co-pilot. That should be ok then, The difference between the two seat 308 and the GT4 version that we had previously is quite a lot, I was surprised to notice it so much, the GT4 was a 1976 car and very well maintained, but the 308 feels better in my opinion, steering is quick - a bit of shake with the roof out but no worse than a much later Audi we had. It is a 1981 car but, wears Weber carbs, it started life in Germany then straight to South Africa, it was imported to Portugal in the start of th 90's where it was owned for a long time by a Portuguese enthusiast, in 2008 it had a Ferrari Classiche file made that confirms that the Carbs were fitted to such a late car - apparently a "Jody Scheckter World Championship special edition" although I can find no reference to this anywhere else. It is fitted with the metric wheels also, and a rear spoiler and front bonnet with air vents like a later QV car, painted black. Black leather interior. Then when I try to get the car in my entrance - only to find the village President at my home in a meeting with the builders! Not very subtle ! What time to arrive on Sunday & who do I pay? 10 AM on Sunday. If you didn't do the bank transfer yet, it's better to pay sunday morning. If the master cylinder is the original one, just replace it. Don't forget to bring a bottle of DOT4 brake fluid with you Have a nice trip!
