What should the numbers be on a really good 3.0 from a 84 mondial cab? What about the leak-down numbers - what is really good? Thanks all, Daren

If you already own the car, I would not do a compression test or leak down unless you are prepared to deal with low or uneven results. Compresion tests and leak downs belong to PPI. Major engine (expensive) work should be indicated by engine perforance symptons. If it runs good, do not go looking for trouble.
    My 2cts worth.

I agree with that, I have always been curious as to what mine are, the engine is fine, but if I found out one is a bit low then I would constantly think about it when i'm in the car, the old phrase comes to mind "don't fix what don't need fixing", just my two penneth

The car is having a PPI done today and when the mechanic at the dealership says its X, I want to know if should be X or should be B.
