I'm sick of this "low mileage" obsession and "low original miles" examples of cars, that should be driven as much as possible. Nowadays even 20-30K miles are considered high.... So I decided to start this thread. It's winter after all, so let's scratch our tongues (well, fingers, in this case) a little bit.

Let's proudly show the highest mileage Ferraris here (with pics of the odometers please!)

I will start with my beloved 430 Scuderia, that unfortunately I sold (which I regret now). I have personally clocked 80 000 kilometers on that car.

My current cars have lower mileages than this, but I am keen to change that soon. In fact, even my manual Murcielago already has 70 000 kilometers.

There's a platino-winning 308 on the west coast with 250K miles plus, same guy also has a 150K mile 355, platino winner rebuilt from a salvage title; he's been mentioned here several times.

Always nice to see the miles rack up. Can't take them with you.

That was a great read, thanks for sharing.

I remember when his car was on the cover of R&T back in 2003 and he mentioned wanting to put 100,000 miles on it. Boy, did he stick to that.

as I now right this post (jinxed myself!) the dreaded "transmission" light just came on at 49,5XX this morning on my drive to work out of NOWHERE (That ***cker came out of nowhere - 40 yr old virgin!") Running diagnostics this weekend to see what happened, but not looking very good since I lost reverse, 2nd, 4th and 6th gears :( #FML

Don't hurry with predictions. It can be something small. In case you need some parts for this DCT unit, I have them all for sale, so for sure you will not need a new gearbox.

no my ferrari guy (ex dealer) indy is going to take it apart; the estimate is $5k - 19k depending if its "just" sensors, or just gaskets/seals, we think the bearings failed since right now the even gears have zero psi from my x431 launch diagnostic ( system & even gears had psi) - hoping the SAP and CCP boards are fine... TBD. Surgery starts next week!!!!

When panels came off he noticed the speed sensor had ALREADY been done! - he was able to recalibrate the entire system doing a "actuator" reset/valve shake. Took 45m. All the error codes disappeared and I got "R/2/4/6" gear back. He thinks something got "stuck" inside but is now working. Fingers crossed - getting my car back tomorrow. If it happens again he said then its most likely a "clutch pressure sensor". TBD!!!!

Sounds much better than buying a new DCT from Ferrari :) I'm glad you finally resolved your issue.

1988/328 89500 miles runs great regular maintenance is a must I never understand why most guys with exotic cars don’t drive them I guess they are afraid of breaking down or reducing the value the do break down if you don’t drive them that’s a fact.
