    I've just about completed my spec for a 2015 Spider, but I'm still on the fence with the seatbelt color. Overall spec is:

    * Rosso Corsa exterior (with shields)
    * Diamond forged wheels + matte black calipers
    * Black leather interior + red stitching
    * Race seats + red stripe/cavallino
    * Black leather upper zone + headliner
    * Black carpet
    * Black seatbelts
    * Interior carbon fiber (wheel, driver's zone, dashboard inserts, center console, door sill)
    * Black tachometer
    * No exterior carbon fiber
    * Sport exhaust, sport sill + front/rear diffusers in black
    * A bunch of typical functional options (camera, sensors, audio, etc...)

    I love the look of the red seat belts, but I've heard several concerns:
    * They get dirty easily
    * Taking the visual focus away from the stripe/cavallino on the seats
    * Clashing with occupant clothing

    Does anyone have pictures of people actually sitting in cars with the red belts? I worry it's something that may look great when no one is in the car, but draw a little too much visual attention when actually in use.

    Thoughts?

    Great car. You and I are going through the same process. My opinion is, stick with black, especially with the black interior.

    If you don't mind, I might also suggest another color for your tach. Yellow would be great because of the steering wheel logo and shields. Or, red, to match your stitching accents. Just a thought. Enjoy.

    Nice spec.

    IMHO the red seatbelts will not take away from the other red accents but will enhance them. Also the car is a red Ferrari, attention is guaranteed no matter the seatbelt color. As to getting dirty, I think it depends on how much you will use the car but I don't think this should be too much of a concern. I'd be more concerned in a car you plan to drive every day. Unless you plan to drive this every day... :)

    I personally am not a fan of contrasting seat belt color with interior leather, especially red which would really stand out. Nero seat belts. I agree with the other post to conider yellow tach. Whatever you decide, your Spider will look great.

    This is the best pic I have. Only had the car for two months but, they have not gotten dirty at all. We love the contrast against the beige interior and they coordinate beautifully with the special red stitching and cavallinos.

    I don't think you can go wrong with either black or red seat belts. The red will definitely stand out more against your black interior. Whatever makes you happy

    The first time someone mentioned clashing, I laughed as well. But enough people brought it up on previous threads that I started to consider it a legitimate concern.

    The tach color has been a difficult decision process. I ruled out the white immediately, since there's no other white on the car. I saw a red in person, and thought it was awful. Not even remotely the right red for the vehicle. Really more of a merlot, and didn't work for me visually at all.

    So I was down to yellow and black. I *love* the yellow tach on the F430, but it just doesn't work for me on the 458. The tunnel is too deep and dark, so most of the "pop" of the color is lost and it just looks dull. Even when backlit, you really just see a hint of yellow in an otherwise dark tach. I feel that the black looks much cleaner and crisper in both daylight and night conditions.

    Good choice. You are going through the same reasoning I have been going through. I agree with you on the red. It's a shame, because a good red would be awesome. It's exciting, but a little nerve wracking as well. Great fun, though.

    My opinion is to keep the seatbelt the same color as the rest of the seat. I think it looks better. When the seatbelt is a different color than the seat, I don't think it matches as well.

    I have rosso corsa with nero interior and rosso special stitching. I have the CF racing seats and did red stripe and cavillino. I have red seat belts, which look great in a black car with a hint of red, and I have the black tach. I think black looks best and is easy to read, and also fits with the black/red theme of the interior.

    So I say red seat belts and black tach., just like my car.

    I have red belts with a black interior (red stitching) and yellow tach. Car is a 2011 with 6000 miles, no signs of dirt. Come to think of it, I've never seen a dirty seatbelt to be honest.

    I love how it looks when it's parked and on the B pillar.

    Black belts go with my black dash, black speakers and black floor mats. Colored belts would look odd in my car. A distraction from the red stitiching, piping and cavallinos on the head rests.

    It is difficult discussing "personal preferences". Look at how different the car pictured in this thread look. IMO one is pretty far out and the other conservative. In the first case the red belt adds to the "idiocyncratic" nature of the owner, while in the second, imo it detracts from an otherwise classic look. I attach a picture of my interior which to some may appear "unimaginative". To each his/her own. Best

    I tend to be very traditional with my choices, but it doesn't matter. I love the photos listed above. Regardless of choices, I'm just big in factory options. I'm not a fan of after market options. But, again, to each their own.
