I have found that most people that toot their 'high' GPA's do not have those 'high' GPA's. And don't scan in your grades, even *I* can photoshop those. FTR, my GPA is 3.0, and for the last 7 semesters (part-time) it has been 3.85 That gives you some idea of where it started, and it wasn't pretty. I truly played the role of Bluto in that movie 30+ years ago.
Take home test due next Tuesday then a final on the 12th and on the 17th. Looking good so far grade wise, we'll see where it all ends up.
3.86 for the semester!!!! Damn B+ in english or it would have been 4.0. Still doesn't help too much with my 2.26 from my last semester.
i had my last day of classes EVER yesterday. one final on wednesday, and then i am an official college graduate,
Not me, I really do have a perfect 4.0. And to think I would take the time to photoshop my grades, or even upload them, is ludicrous. I didn't make my previous post so I could get into an argument. Great improvement on your grades, Whisky. Good luck. Transferring colleges this fall though: from Bentley University in MA to Emory University in Atlanta. Can't wait!
tomorrow morning i will officially be done with college, all i have to do is get 10 points on the final and i pass the class,
thanks! yeah, wow, i still remember my first day of classes, time has flown by, but i'm glad to have it over with, almost, in about 5 hours i will no longer be a college student,
A and A- for Spring '10 semester. Currently maintaining a 3.83 GPA. Woo! Summer session starts the 17th...only a few more days of freedom!
Not trying to argue, I was just saying some folks do, I've seen it before on resumes' and transcripts people send me. One guy photoshopped into his transcript a class and grade from a class that one of my employees taught. Needless to say my employee never heard of him.
Oh yeah? Let me tell you, at one point long LONG ago my GPA was 1.1. I didn't fail classes from stupidity, I failed classes because I NEVER showed up to take any tests, which is a sheer form of stupidity. I have clawed my way back to a 2.993 GPA - which is hard to do when you have/had about 30 hrs of F's. Even with 'academic amnesty' it's hard, but it can be done, because I'm doing it. Nine more hours and I graduate with a BA (after 33 yrs of college off-and-on). I already have an AAS Degree and am close to having a second one on top of the BA I am about to get. What will this get me? A sense of accomplishment. And it's important to keep the brain functioning.
Better late than never if it's something that is truly important to you. I ended up with an A- in organic chemistry despite my professor being nearly impossible to understand. My GPA as it sits is a 3.85 at the moment.
It's that time of year again, the time where in the past I was about ready to throw myself out of the closest window I could find...so how are they going this year? Take it from me, this is the first time since I graduated where I realized I didn't have to worry about them anymore, and it's a nice feeling, good luck!
Considering I'm a science major, finals have been pretty stressful so far. Biology 1 (harder than it sounds) on top of English 2, an elective and Calculus for engineering majors (2-3 hours of studying per day by itself all semester) and I'll probably pull a 3.5 this semester. A's in English 2 and Biology and B's in the other two. I'm nervously sick everyday.
I just got a 100% on my final exam in the continuing adult education at South County Tech night class, in the fascinating world of HVAC!!
Freshman here and I've yet to take any finals. I have Eng 181 tomorrow and Calc 151 followed by Chem 121 on Tuesday. Oh boy...
I have a Calc 2 test tomorrow which is the last day of real class, thanks Dr. Sen. Test schedule: Calc 2 - Tomorrow Physics - Wednesday Financial ACG - Thursday Micro - Saturday Calc 2 - Monday With all the other things I've been doing this semester, I'm happy with the 3.2 I'm (very likely) going to get. The only test I'm really worried about is the calc 2 final.
I have intro. to sociology (gag) on Wednesday. Then math, bio, comm, and general business. Good luck to everyone, need to get back to studying!
