College Football 2018

The game seemed to go downhill for 'Bama after the "doink" on the extra point. (That suddenly seems to have become contagious!) I think everyone in the stadium expected the fake on the field goal; I sure did.

Frankly, I think that everyone expected Lawrence to make the expected freshman blunder, but he never did. He is the best freshman quarterback that I've ever seen, but it helped that his offensive line was able to keep him upright. Where was the Tide's pass rush?

I still remember that when Clemson named Dabo Swinney head coach, nearly everyone thought that it was a terrible choice. I presume that all those people have eaten their words by now!

I’ll have to admit that after we lost our fifth game in a row to our arch rivals, the South Carolina Gamecocks, I did have my doubts.

USC S Bubba Bolden Transfers to Miami (Another GREAT Transfer)

I'm probably forgetting a few others,,,

 

That's why I love college football. Never a dull moment.

 

The mighty SEC went 6-6 in bowls this year, and the ACC went 6-5 including 'the one that counted the most'. I guess we should all recognize the ACC as the most difficult conference to play in...
